Dennis Cagan

Dennis Cagan is a recognized authority in the high-technology industry. He is a respected C-level executive, venture capital investor, professional board member and consultant. Dennis' career spans 45 years of founding and leading a wide variety of information technology, software, services and Internet firms. He has been on 47 corporate boards, and has done business in numerous countries and has an impressive track record of both start-up and turn-around situations. Dennis has founded over a dozen start-ups, and has participated in taking several public. As a serial interim CEO Dennis recently served as President, CEO and Managing Member of NL Systems (dba Encryptics); as President and CEO of SureBooks; as Chairman, CEO and President of TWL Corporation (OTC), and was founder, Chairman and CEO of the Santa Barbara Technology Group, LLC, a private incubator and venture investment firm. He is currently involved in the formation of a new cybersecurity software company, and as the Chairman of MerchantNational. Over the years, Dennis has provided consulting services to companies such as AT&T, IBM, General Electric, and Xerox, among others, as well as dozens of smaller enterprises. He has authored numerous articles, and was the Keynote Speaker at the first COMDEX Show in Las Vegas in 1979. In 2011 he was inducted into the IT Hall of Fame - Channel Wing, administered by CompTIA. Dennis serves on four corporate Boards, is active in his church, and lives with his wife Angelia in Plano with their youngest of four daughters.
