Dennis Johnson
When it comes to the bond between humans and animals, Dennis Johnson’s perspective and knowledge span more than 40 years. From his younger days caring for farm animals in Nokomis, Illinois, to his current ownership of two veterinary clinics in North Carolina, Dennis Johnson possesses a vast amount of experience caring for pets and offering owners peace of mind. Dennis Johnson studied veterinary medicine at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has since worked in a number of animal hospitals and clinics, including more than 20 years at two private practices in Decatur, Illinois. Dr. Johnson attempted to retire in 2003, but found that he could not give up caring for and treating dogs, cats, and other pets. Dennis Johnson also missed the communication and camaraderie he experienced with other pet owners. After a brief search, Dr. Johnson settled at Greenville Veterinary Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina, later adding All Pets Hospital for Animals in Fayetteville, North Carolina. For the past six years, Dennis Johnson and his staff of professional veterinarians and veterinary assistants have served a variety of animals both common and exotic, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, hamsters, and rabbits. In order to effectively care for and treat pets that arrive at his veterinary clinics, Dennis Johnson provides a range of services like internal medicine, vaccination and disease prevention, cardiology, ultrasound, behavioral medicine, dentistry, surgery, and critical care. Dr. Johnson also employs groomers and offers boarding facilities for those times when an owner cannot take a pet along on a trip. One of the most important missions of both Greenville Veterinary Hospital and All Pets Hospital for Animals is to see the human-animal connection. Dennis Johnson’s staff members understand the bond between owners and their pets, and they are dedicated to offering kind and gentle care to any animal that walks, flies, hops, or slithers through their doors.
