Dennis L. Martire

Residing in northern Virginia with his family, Dennis L. Martire has a sincere commitment to the mid-Atlantic area of the United States. Not only is this the place that he calls “home,” but it’s also the region that he manages in his leadership role with the Laborers’ International Union of North America. Since 2002, Martire has served as vice president and regional manager for LIUNA’s mid-Atlantic area -- the area in which he lives and has served throughout his 30-plus year career with the organization. His strong commitment to LIUNA shines across the area, from his work to improve wages for working families in Maryland to his assistance in forming a new union among workers in New Jersey. The mid-Atlantic area has become much more than the region in which Dennis L. Martire has long lived; it’s a place where Martire’s considerable work to improve working conditions resonates in waves.
