Writer in St. Louis, Missouri, USA
As of January 1, 2016, I'm putting aside the majority of my work as a writer. I'm dedicating my time and efforts to the eradication of our nation's crisis of addiction to opioid painkillers and heroin. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
My wife and I are doing all we can to help support the efforts of Dr. K D Janda and his work with vaccines for heroin and fentanyl. He can be reached here:
Kim D. Janda, Professor, Depts of Chemistry and Immunology, The Scripps Research Institute, 10550 N. Torrey Pines Rd., BCC-582, La Jolla, CA 92037
Here is how donations can be made:
Go to www.scripps.edu and click on the blue tab on the right side that says "support us". Next click on the pulldown menu that says "donate now". Under the "designation field" pulldown choose "other". Then you can type in where the money is to be spent. For example: "Janda Lab Heroin Vaccine Research". Thank you.
I am also tracking the legislative process of the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) as it makes its way through Congress.
My memoirs are still available. They are titled She Had No Enemies, and its follow-up The Girl Who Had No Enemies
