Dennis Rinner
An expert in annuities and long-term health care, Dennis Rinner has served as the Director of Training and Field Communications for American Independent Marketing (AIM) since 1998. He is also the point person for several important AIM national accounts. AIM has been recognized over the past 30 years as one of the largest and most respected marketing organizations specializing in long-term care. Dennis Rinner holds numerous responsibilities in the business, with much of his time devoted to training the company’s 10,000 contracted agents. During his career with American Independent Marketing, Dennis Rinner has held more than 1,000 workshops and seminars, with the primary focus being long-term health care and annuities. In addition to the seminars, Rinner is one of a select few instructors authorized to teach the California Partnership Long-Term Care course, a Continuing Education requirement for agents who want to sell the coverage. As a national authority on long-term care, Dennis Rinner has spoken at numerous events, including industry conferences. He leverages extensive training and experience in the field, holding status as a Certified Financial Planner (TM) along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on insurance from San Diego State University. To stay current with industry developments, Rinner also maintains membership in the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance and the Financial Planning Association. With his initial education in insurance, Dennis Rinner began selling policies while still enrolled at San Diego State University. This work led him to pursue a career in the financial services industry and provided a foundation for his specialization in long-term health care. In addition to his work in the financial sector, Rinner spent time as the Senior Vice President of Sales with a prominent publishing company. Prior to joining American Independent Marketing, Dennis Rinner learned the annuities business by collaborating with a well-known author in the field.
