Hi,

I'm a half Brazilian half Chilean creative copywriter based in Italy with more than 15 years of experience in Advertising.

I have an M.Sc in Audiovisual Media Culture and a B.A. in Advertising and a Ph.D. in Communication Design, title obtained at the School of Design Politecnico di Milano, Italy.

Through the years, I've been part of some research groups like the Research Lab of Processes and Media Languages (GMID), and the Research Lab in Media, Entertainment and Pop Culture (GruPOP).
Both from Brazilian Universities.

I am also a former member ofthe Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Analysis of the Media (CARISM), University Paris 2, Pantheon-Assas, Sorbonne Universities.

Nowadays, I am a member of the editorial team of the DESIGNABILITIES - Design Research Journal, Germany, Give classes, talks, and workshops regarding posters and design activism.

In previous researches, I've analyzed 1. The influence of visual arts in Advertising and 2. The remediation process of posters and their integration within digital media culture.

Currently, my research is related to media activism, design activism, social movements aesthetics, and creative/visual resistance.

I've also taught Aesthetics, History of art, Creative processes in Advertising. All of them at University level (Advertising and Design School).
