Hey, I’m Derek. I’m a storage and software developer most recently working for NetApp in Wichita, Kansas. I am looking to get my hands dirty with new projects and challenges in software development. That's the best way to learn something new!

I was overseeing the development and testing of the SolidFire Fibre Channel solution for NetApp as a part of the Platform Group. I worked on automating the deploying and configuring the fibre channel zoning and storage mapping on our development configs. I developed and executed testing for code coverage and solutions during a release cycle.

I previously managed portions of a large SAN for remote hosted, multi-client shared environments. I setup, configure, troubleshot and maintained SAN equipment from vendors such as HPE, NetApp, EMC, IBM, Brocade and Cisco.
