Derek Sanford is the videographer, editor and owner behind Right Coast Video Production. Based out of the Daytona Beach area, he founded RCVP in 2003 to finally provide an affordable and quality solution for any digital video need and to give a more youthful approach to video production.
Recognizing the need for innovative digital video, he set out to do something different... create a product that actually doesn't look amateur and boring. His background as a videographer and editor in the digital video industry allows him to create videos that are stylish, yet still timeless and real.
As a videographer/editor for popular local television shows and graduate from Daytona State College with a degree in Digital Media and Television Production, Derek integrates his love for videography and his creative techniques into his videos, which give them their unique style.
With 17 + years of experience in shooting and editing digital video and 7 + years of formal education, Derek has done work for some of the top companies in the country which include: NBC Golf Channel, NASCAR Productions, CBS Sports, Fox Sports, AMA Pro Racing, MotoAmerica, ESPN, PBS, Garmin, Mentor Films, TurnHere Internet Video, Modern Media, Kavich & Reynolds Productions and Car People Marketing, Inc.
