Derek Bunt

I'm a 20 year old college student currently attending Full Sail University's Recording Arts Bachelor's degree program. I've been playing music for 7 years, I am trained in guitar and voice, I've been in many local bands and played a lot of local shows. I love all styles of music (Expertise in Metal, Rock & Punk, sub-genre's included specifically) and have tried to learn each style as well as the specific elements that make those styles unique. I've been doing DIY recordings & sound design for 4 out of the 7 years I've been involved in music. The prior knowledge has helped me greatly in Full Sail, on the flip side, Full sail has also helped me enhance that prior knowledge. Aside from music I'm also very fluent with video editing/design. As a musician I've made my own music videos, lyric videos, I've made trailers and TV Spots for films, the works. I have countless other interests and skills that make me a valuable asset to the entertainment industry. Any chance I could get to put my mind and my abilities to a professional project would be a great experience. I'm always writing and recording music/soundscapes, I'm very open to collaboration, if ever you get the chance take a look or listen to some of my work.
