“The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.”

I currently teach Economics at Eisenhower High School in Utica Community Schools. I strive to integrate and utilize technology to help me be a better teacher to each and every student. I focus on technology that helps create a student centered learning environment where students can utilize their creativity. I am currently trying to transform myself from a teacher to a facilitator of student learning and inquiry! I enjoy helping my colleagues become more comfortable with technology usage in the classroom to energize their instruction.

I serve my community on the Sterling Heights Board of Zoning Appeals and am Vice-Chairman of the Ordinance Board of Appeals.

In my free time I enjoy baseball, weight lifting, and running. My next goal is to run a half marathon this summer.

“Winning is not a sometime thing, it is an all the time thing. You don’t do things right once in a while…you do them right all the time.”
