Derek Fox

For more than 30 years Derek Fox has been involved in business management and developing people and companies to their potential. Companies he has directed and managed include divisions of Spirent plc and General Electric Power Controls. He also successfully built his own company Masai Barefoot Technology Spain sl. Barcelona into a multi-million euro business employing more than 200 fulltime personal.
Starting in sales at the age of 15 and working his way up to company management he has gained a wealth of practical experience and knowledge on the way to do things right. Derek is a ‘hands on’ grass roots type of person whose experienced intuition is quick to identify possibilities in people and in businesses. He tells it as it is, but is always kind and considerate of other people’s opinions, ideas, and outlooks.
Derek enjoys the challenges of business management and all that it entails, but his real passion is working with people, coaching, mentoring, motivating, and encouraging people to reach their real and full potential. He believes passionately that everyone has potential for great improvement which can be identified and developed and that people need to be helped to do this. He wholeheartedly agrees with the the business guru Peter Drucker who said “We now accept the fact that learning is a lifelong process of keeping abreast of change. And the most pressing task is to teach people how to learn.”
An ongoing personal burning desire is to use the life and business experience that he has gained over the four decades to coach people in business and to help them live a more authentic life. Also to help people identify and achieve their goals, support people dealing with the challenges that come with business today, and importantly help them enjoy the experience along the way.
