Mr. Groft is equipped with 20 years of success in technical roles, developing, designing, implementing and operating enterprise applications and technology; Skilled and experienced with formal software development processes, where duties spanned requirements gathering, development, coding, testing, release planning and delivery; Provided technical leadership in executing a benchmark (performance test) of a billing system simulating a 2-million customer utility; Led the Development Architecture team responsible for defining the software delivery processes for a large retailer coordinating the environment and release management strategy for a solution involving 12 distinct systems developed and implemented by multiple vendors. Served as senior technical lead for the largest-ever implementation of a particular SOA XML Security Gateway for a large retailer. Most recently, Mr. Groft led a team of Infrastructure Architects in redesigning the infrastructure of a complex, mission-critical system.
