i married an amazing woman who allows and encourages me to really be myself. she is my best friend. alison, i love you!

we have a 2 yr old daugter named molly, who is a constant source of love, energy, amusement, inspiration, and reminds me that the world is so wonderful. and molly is about to become a big sister, and she will be such a big sister, like the world has never know ..

friends are a very important part of my life, my support system, my essence really. from my first real friendship, now 30 years strong, to high school friends who crossed the entire country just to see me happily married, to the die hard companion who always has my back, to the amazing couple who taught us what it means to be parents, to the most recent additions who inspire me to stay young, play hard and win the party ... i couldn't live without you all.

i work in the field of architecture, helping translate the visions of designers into a built reality. i dabble in illustration and design in what little spare time i have, and get great satisfaction from seeing tangible, tactile results from my creativity.

i climb things ... mostly rocks but sometimes buildings, bridges, and more recently, playground structures. i love all things related to flying discs, particularly ultimate frisbee and disc golf. i snowboard when time and money can allow. it is a wonderful combination of grace and exhilaration.

however, despite all these things, at the heart of my imagination, i am still a hobbit thief, i am still a super hero, i am still a ninja, and i am still a black-ops sniper. and all of it, real and imaginary, i owe to you Mom and Dad. thanks for everything. you rock!
