Hello My name is Derek and this is a small bio about myself. I am a student at The University of Texas at El Paso and I'm currently I'm a second semester student here at the University, and I am currently majoring in Biology with a minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. As a bio major writing will be part of most of my job when it comes to doing research papers and learning how to write will give me the upper-hand when I prepare and edit my research papers. Thought the course I learned different strategies that will help me perfect my writing and how I get my point across. One area that needs improvement is formatting my paper as I can be a bit of a messy writer I can just crumble everything into one piece and find it difficult to find starting points for a new paragraph.
