Derek Spencer is one of the leading Latin disc jockey the country has in the Salsa circles. Derek with over 7 years of experience entertaining at various clubs like Zenzi Bandra, Zenzi Mills, Dragon Fly, Blue Frog, F-Bar, Shiro as well as other events including Salsa Congresses and Festivals in Bangalore, Pune and other cities across India got him fully immersed into the DJ scene and created a buzz throughout the city. His music box comprises of music from every era imaginable and equipped with a vast range of musical knowledge.

He is a pilot by profession with one of India's largest airlines, his passion for music has nurtured his personality, drive, enthusiasm and love for music as he loves to play from the heart, and he changes his style of music to suit any event.

Derek Spencer has formed a salsa community known ‘Latin Twist’ and presently DJs every Wednesday at Sushi Samba, Salsa Nights in Shiro, Mumbai. He was invited to play at the Goa Salsa Festival 2013, held in March 2013.
