What’s up, I’m Derek. I’m a Mortgage Broker living in Macungie PA. I am a fan Golf, and Audi.

Born in Brooklyn, and raised in Queens, NYC has always had a special place in my heart. It was great going to School with LL Cool J, I did not become serious to me until my junior year. Then I accelerated my classes and finished my senior year a half of a year early.

I moved to Pennsylvania, I started college out in Harrisburg, then transferred to Penn State.

I'm married to a wonderful honey, we have two amazing children, and 1 dog. I am proud to have been able to have her give our family what she has. Note - she is also amazing with any animal she cares for.

After entering the mortgage world in 1997, every year i have been in the President’s Club,which is made up of the top producers.

One employer I was working for started asking us to take in questionable applications, yet personally I felt conflicted. Soon after I gave notice..

Audi is my Favorite car manufacture. I planned to work there for 6 months. I LOVED IT! Sometimes you stay at something you love for longer than planned, and after a few years there I went back to the mortgage industry.

Currently, I am helping Columbia Bank branch out their mortgage division from New Jersey into Pennsylvania. Some of the great things I enjoy about this venture, is how Columbia Bank loves to give back to the community where they are invested in, and how easy it is to get mortgages closed with them.

Although the mortgage world can be small, it's also taken me on a path to meet some amazing people. I am blessed by the network of people I get to work and golf with.

I'm the mortgage part of a network of individuals who run a real estate investment challenge which helps individuals build real estate wealth in their portfolios.

Beyond mortgages, I realize money can be a smart investment tool to grow more. I have a few investments, plus I own a solar company.

If you have not noticed, I care about doing what is right and ethical. I also care about beating challenges set before me.
