Deric Ned

Deric Ned is the Founder and CEO of Ridgemont Capital, a holding company focused on retirement wealth and precious metals. Based in Pasadena, California, he works with individuals navigating retirement decisions who want straightforward guidance on what they own and why they own it. He hosts free financial education events through AFEA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in libraries and community spaces across the region: no-pressure environments where he believes people learn better. His core conviction is that most Americans were never taught how the financial system works, and that gap has real consequences. He is also the author of Honest Money, a plain-language guide to retirement planning. When he's not working, he's usually outside: hiking, camping, or riding one of his Harleys. He lives in Pasadena with his wife, Ninoska, and their four children.
