Dérick Pimenta

I have always been (and am) a dreamer. My imagination has always been fertile, and she has made me (and does) company at all times in my life. I have always endeavored to help others, whether with a word of comfort or simply with presence. One day I saw two reports on television: One of an equipment that enabled color-blinds to see and distinguish colors, and one that enabled deaf people for the first time to hear. It was like a snap, a flash. I thought: This is what I want for my future. Work to make dreams possible. That's why I chose to devote my efforts to learning computer science. Every day I do my best, using computers, to make people's lives better than they are.
