Survived and thrived being an only child. I never lacked for playmates, as my parents played with me every day - my mom while daddy was at work, and then we would be shooting dart guns in the living room while mom fixed dinner.

Followed the American dream - getting married, building a beautiful home - and then it all went away.

So I have been blessed with two very different lives - going back to university at 35 and moving to Turkey in 2009. I love the Bosphorus, and ancient sites still intrigue me, and I am thrilled when I see my Business Students learning something they can use right away in their business! I love meeting new people and helping those in business or wanting to get started in business. I am a big proponent of women-owned businesses. Looking forward to what 2012 holds - trying to be more unstructured 'go with the flow'!
