Bio: Derrick Muhammad is becoming one of The Funniest Stand Up Comedians. With a background in acting, producing and film directing, it was only a matter of time till his new craft of stand up comedy would be part of his resume. In 2010 Derrick found himself suddenly having a relationship status of "In a relationship" to being single. One night his friends invited him to go to a local comedy lounge to relax. That night was open mic night and he was encouraged by his friends to go on stage. While telling the audience about his relationship , he noticed that audience were laughing at his life experience. "Who would have known that telling my story would make people laugh." At the end of his set he received a standing ovation. It must have been his charismatic delivery that made everyone laugh to the point of crying. Shortly after that night he was approached to host and open up for some of the Industry top touring comedians such as " Tony Roberts, Marcus Combs, Shawn Morgan, Howie Bell, Alex Scott, Kool Bubba Ice, Bill Hill and Smiley Joe Wiley to name a few. Since then Derrick has starred in the award winning and indie suspense thriller film "The Buyout." He has performed at the Top Comedy Clubs around the Midwest and college campus. Currently you can hear Derrick's brand of comedy featuring his original storytelling, creative social and political satire which is direct and thought provoking on his online show called the "Derrick Muhammad Comedy Showcase" which has become the hottest online show.
