Derrick's background includes serving as Executive Director of the YMCA located in Lakeland, Florida, and CEO/Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital City in Jefferson City, Missouri to name a few. He has raised funds for critical profit and non-profit programs, organized golf tournaments and structured high-profile events through his former company Eventrics, a national event management firm in Lakeland that he co-founded in 2006.
