I’m a psychologist, an advocate for Justice and transparency, a human rights advocate , a humanitarian living in Kampala Uganda . Derrick Taabu is a Ugandan writer and independent political commentator. He is passionate about constitutional governance, human rights, justice and national development.

He is passionate about justice, the rule of law, accountable leadership and the protection of human dignity. He is known for expressing his views on social and public issues. Rather than aligning with a specific political party, he describes himself as politically independent. Beyond public affairs, Derrick enjoys creative writing, including inspirational and thought provoking stories. He seems motivated by the belief that success should contribute positively to others, reflecting interests in leadership, fairness and social responsibility.

Through his writing and public engagement, he encourages informed discussion on leadership and responsibility. As a writer, Derrick explores themes like humility, personal growth and social responsibility believing that true success is measured by impact on others not just personal gain.
