Irish Street Photography remains in its infancy compared to other Countries I was a late starter to Photography in general and my first Street Shots were taken in New York in 2005.
I tried Landscape & lost Interest I sat in on a Camera Club to see what happens & hated it!!
I went back to the Streets & it re-kindled my Interest, I am self-taught & not the most Technially minded but I know the Shot I want when I see it!
Magnum Photographer Bruce Gilden from New York did a Project on the People in and around Coney Island, Martin Parr in the UK did a Project called the " Last Resort" on an area near Liverpool, for the past Three Years and Probably the next three I am working on my own Street Photography Project entitled: "Prom People" based on Locals and Tourists that Walk, Jog, Skate, Cycle, etc..on the mile long Victorian Promenade in the Irish Seaside Resort of Bray County Wicklow, known in its day as the Brighton of Ireland.
