The Desher Khobor (in Bengali দেশের খবর) is a community news site in Bangla, focusing on rural news and helping to create space for the voices unheard. This is the only news site that runs on volunteerism. SoMaSHTe (www.somashte.org), a media and communication-focused organization leads this intervention since 2007.
