I crave order and pretty things. I am always busy, even if I am sitting still my mind is racing a million miles an hour. I am always thinking about what I can do next: which project can I begin? What pictures should I put on that wall? Can I find a sideboard narrow enough for that hallway? Maybe I could make a sideboard? Let's beadboard the laundry? How do you make cushions? I think I might bake some cookies? How can I reorganise the pantry? ... Even until my last blink of the day before I turn out the light... I'm always thinking of what I can create, buy or repurpose.

I am mumma to Emma Isabella - who makes each day completely exhausting- in the most fulfilling and blessed way. She has helped me to treasure life and not sweat the small stuff - although I am still learning that and need a reminder often. There is nothing I would rather be doing than spending my time taking her to toddler gym, swimming, racing after her at the grocery store or reading many stories at bedtime. I'm very blessed.

I lived in York, England for 3 years which is where my Emma Bella was born. A piece of my heart will always be left in York - it's such a beautiful town full of history and charm. Now I live in my hometown Sydney, Australia.

I love to design and create. I've always been crafty and from as early as I can remember I was sketching anything from clothes to floor plans. I said earlier that I love order! Everything feels better and life is better when everything is in its place. I am a better mum, wife, sister, friend, daughter and teacher when I am organised.

My purpose for writing this blog is to keep me in check and ensure I remember to create, be thankful and live life to the fullest. I also want to share my creations with you and would love you to share with me. So send me a note at [email protected] or leave a comment on the blog or Facebook. Tell me what inspires you or what your next project will be.

Or even better submit to me your latest creation. Whether it be a baked treat from the kitchen, an artwork, a cushion or a room make over. I want to see it and share it with the readers. I love to be inspired by others and enjoy that spark I get when I see someone doing something good for themselves - it motivates me and reminds me to give everything a go - and strive to live a life I love.

Lastly I want to give thanks to the biggest love in my life. My husband. He has given me so many opportunities,
