Joost Vanhecke is at his best when challenged to develop ideas, strategies and creative concepts for new projects, ventures and brands. By steering companies and individuals in new directions he helps them face new market realities.

His expertise is in the interior design, architecture and construction industries and in design management. Over the past decade Joost has organised leading international design exhibitions and events as well as a design biennale. More recently he has developed and honed a ‘business to architecture’ (B2A) methodology and approach.

Joost is an eternal optimist with a hands-on entrepreneurial mentality. He was a member of the Government Commission for Design & Architecture in his native Belgium from 2012 to 2018 and is a guest teacher at the ISD Rubika design management school in France. He is also a proactive fundraiser for cancer-related causes having suffered the disease himself and is in the process of re-evaluating what is important in life and work.
