Desi Sanchez

Desi Sanchez is an NYC native and established TV host & media personality, with credits in broadcasting, the visual arts, music, and more.

Currently the host of Bleacher Report's daily sports and pop culture show, BR5, as well as VEVO's new original music series, Sound + City, Desi became an MTV VJ when she was named the "Face of MTV2" in 2010, connecting viewers across the country with the hottest artists & celebs on location.

Desi is also the co-host of NYC Life's "Profiles" celebrity interview show, hosts iO TV's "Optimum Insider," and has filled in as an anchor on E! News Now. In addition, Desi reports on local music happenings for NextMosh.com, and her hosting talents have also been featured on FOX & MyNetwork as the five-year host of LatiNation, where she can still be seen on Nuvo reruns weekly, on Syfy Channel's In the Qube, Music Choice's Demanded, and on TMZ.com; and she also MC's live national & community events as well.

In other media, Desi's utilizes her voice talents in comedy skits on several local FM stations, in imaging pieces for clients such Sirius XM Radio, and she is also voices the character of Serena in the new Alan Wake American Nightmare video game on Xbox360. A pianist since childhood and an electric guitarist for the past decade, Desi released a single in 2006, after which she was named one of the 15 Hottest Latinas in Music by MAXIM Español, opposite Christina Aguilera.
