I was given a great compliment the other day - someone commented that I must be a new breed of artistic scientist. I loved hearing this, but it made me think about people's perception of scientists and science. I am incorporating a science feature on my photography blog, and I hope to spread the word that scientists are real people too!
I work in automation and my passion is liquid handling. I've been a liquid handler since 2000 and love it.
Outside of work, I like to write and I am addicted to photography. Portrait, macro, animals, abstract - I have an eclectic mix of photographic styles and am working on my skills in each of these areas.
