Ek is `n reisiger, van die ervaring en leerskool van die lewe, sy trane, sy vreugde, sy stories, sy vrae, sy gedagtes en drome, sy reise, die wat in dit met jou deel en die wat jou lewe omring of self binnedring. Ek hou aan met die reis want ek hou van waar dit my al gelei het en die misterie wat dit behels- in die bekende en onbekende.

Desmond manages creative projects from concept to completion,translating marketing objectives into creative strategies, and directing the creative team in the production of advertising and marketing. Lushly seductive imagery with heart rendering stories is on the palette he uses to express and guide the audience on which ever journey is intended with the project.

Desmond is a passionate worker, who truly believes in the power of team work, standing firmly in character for what you believe and living out those values of love with those in your community.

His films have been officially selected and screened at Festivals Nationally, such as Innibos, Apollo, KKNK, Golden Lion, Durban International film festival, as well as other international screenings. Desmond has won various awards- including 4 awards at the Angel Film Festival Monaco for best writer, director and production of the film Anderkant die stilte. Desmond also received various nominations at other festivals and won best director for Apollo 2008 for the film Vaderland.

Beauty and grace are performed whether or not we sense them. The least we can do is try to be there ... so that creation need not play to an empty house
