Desmond is best known for his involvement with launching the first Microsoft Xbox project and creation of the original supply chain to sustain the incredible demand for it. Following the Xbox project, he moved on to China first setting up a micro HDD operation and then as a SVP Global Fulfillment Operations for one of Foxconn’s largest business groups with a span of control consisting of 10+ locations, > 10,000 employees, and full global PL responsibility. During his time at Foxconn, he led the creation of one cohesive global manufacturing team by bringing together of all global sites into one focused profitable organization.

With a career spanning more than 25 years in global manufacturing, Desmond has a proven track record of success across numerous regions and technologies. His career spans clean room manufacturing of ultra high precision components, complex hard disk drives, to high volume consumer electronics such as the Xbox, PC’s, and laptops. He is professionally known for his passion, leadership, and building strong profitable global organizations. His willingness to take on large manufacturing challenges and navigating through complex situations to achieve favorable results is well known within the industry.
