Despoina Dimitriadou

Thessaloniki, Greece

In 2006, I graduated from the department of Civil Infrastructure Engineering of Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. A few months later, I started working for a number of projects on traffic management studies in Cities/Municipalities, which I continue to do up to this time. In 2007, and during my professional experience, I started my MSc degree in Environmental Technologies, which was in cooperation with the University of Ioannina and the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. Finally, in 2011, I got a certificate from the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education.

I am an excellent user of computer technology with a good command on Office and AutoCAD.

I am interested in environmental and transportation issues and I did some research for Thessaloniki city, along with some presentations, about the correlation between traffic flow and atmospheric pollution, traffic management measures as a factor in improving air quality and finally, about seat belt use.

Additionally, I enjoy attending seminars and conferences not only in engineering and environmental domain but in others too, such as computer science, technology, pedagogy and psychology.
