Destiney is a student at North Carolina Central University, earning a bachelor's degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences. She has earned an associate's degree in HumanServices/Substance Abuse from Wake Technical Community College. Her background in helping those in need accompanied by her life experiences, critical thinking skills, compassion and empathy makes her ability to connect with others something to be admired.

Destiney is driven by her passion for helping those in need. She considers it a gift to be able to selflessly care about the well being of others. She is the co-founder of a non profit organization whose goal is to empower and educate young women. She believes the the youth are the key to a successful future and wants to aid in that success.

Destiney has built strong connections with women during some of the lowest parts of their lives. Her willingness to listen and her realistic yet calm approach allowed her to aid in the success of those women.

Currently, Destiney is seeking to enter the field of behavioral therapy. She is eager to make a positive effect in the lives of the youth in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area.
