Destiny Hillhouse

My name is Destiny Hillhouse. I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma and attend a small, liberal arts university. I am a senior pursuing a degree in social work. Social justice is a huge focus for me and I am an advocate for many causes. I am also a strong liberal and feminist in a part of the country where being a liberal is the farthest thing from cool and equality is nearly frowned upon. Still though, I respect differing opinions and choose to embrace diversity. I am strongly opposed to the death penalty and support marriage equality. Those are two of my most fought for causes. And I believe with the help of those who refuse to remain silent, we will soon know a world filled with love, peace, equality, and liberty for all.
