You know, there's a time in someones life where you just have to think for yourself. You have to let go, let go of what people think, stop letting the nay-sayers tell you what to do, stop letting them tell you you can't, that you shouldn't, etc. I reached that point a month ago. A month ago I decided it was time to get my life started, the life I wanted, and not what others wanted. So here's my story! I'm originally from Beatrice, NE, born and raised on a dairy farm. The farm has been in my family for generations. I played soccer, volleyball and softball in high school. I maintained a 3.5 GPA in high school as well. After, I attended the University of Nebraska and graduated with a BS in Exercise Science, class of '13...GO HUSKERS! Upon graduation, I completed my certified personal training credential and went to work as CPT in Omaha, NE at a nationally recognized gym. But, it wasn't enough! I wanted more, I wanted to pursue my dream. My dream was to be a fitness model and compete in the professional circuit, the IFBB Figure & Fitness League. I had dreamt about that since high school. It was always frowned upon by family when I expressed my interest in it. Leaving NE, leaving the family, going to the big city, being in the spot light, show biz so to speak was frowned upon. Despite their negative energy towards it, I never let it extinguish my flame. I kept that burning desire in the back of my mind, and it never went away. Until I month ago, I let them talk me into staying close to home and be happy with my training job at the gym, but I wanted more than that. One day I snapped and said, "it's time to go!" So I packed up and moved to Las Vegas, one of the few fitness meccas in the US! I left it all on the line, left my boring life in NE behind, and said to myself..."I WILL GO AFTER MY DREAM!" So no turning back, no excuses! This crazy bitch is here with vengeance and is only looking for one thing...SUCCESS! To prove to the nay-sayers back home that I'm worthy, I'm good enough, and I'm not taking any fucking shit! Pardon the language, but I'm very passionate about this! So I'm here in Las Vegas now looking to take the fitness industry by storm. Watch out people, I'm here to kick ass and take names!!!
