Devon Rodriguez

Lancaster, Texas, United States

My name is Devon Rodriguez, as stated on almost everywhere on this page, and I'm creating this page to tell the world (or at least those who check it) all about me!

Starting it off, I am a student, soon to be graduate, of Lancaster High School. Although I may not be the smartest person at school, I am definitely fun to hang around with! At first glance, I may look like the quiet type, but once communication as erupted between us? I guarantee that we'll have something in common and we'll be as right as rain!

I am not prone to outbursts, vulgar language, nor disrespect within the workplace. When complications occur, which undoubtedly will, I gracefully and peacefully search for a solution that will work for everyone that is affected. However, I am prone to following directions, being respectful to all, and always having a sunny attitude!

I am grateful to have met all of my friends, teachers, and acquaintances along these past 12 years of my life. Currently, being 17 and turning 18 in June, I have not met as many professional motivators just yet. However, the ones I do happen to cross paths with have inspired me to be the best I could possibly be.. All of the knowledge that I have absorbed from their glowing resonant minds have greatly impacted me. The past experiences, although eerily dark, have also made me who I am today.

I hope thus far you haven't fallen asleep! You haven't? Great! Let's get into the good stuff!

As previously mentioned, I am not the smartest teenager in school, but neither am I a hooligan. Yes, I have had my moments where I made mistakes, however, I have never endangered anyone, posted anything vulgar or disrespectful on social media, nor have I had participated in any sort of illegal activity. Kinda hard to see that nowadays.

My strengths include, but are not limited to: respectful, nice, obediant, different (talked more in depth later), attentive, responsible, problem-solver, morally-good, religious man, and much more!

My talents consist of being a technology type of person and all that are within it. An example is my passion for the ever growing and majestic field/product. As technology grows, I adapt with it and learn what else it has to offer. Any problem with a piece of technology is basic mathematic problem to me, in most cases. It never bores me and I never get bored of it. Typing and all programs within Microsoft Office amaze me. There's so much information that could be collided and easily displayed. It's a never-ending process of learning, similar to life, but I always adapt and play the cards that I am dealt with.

My greatest accomplishment thus far will be graduating high school. While simplistic to some, this means the world to me. Why, you may ask? No one in my family thus far has successfully conquered the challenge of high school for various reasons. Regardless, I will be the first in my family to finally claim the title, "first in our family to graduate!"

But I won't stop here. Life is more than just what I have experiences so far and there is much more to learn and experience. All of my friends, family, and even teachers wish for me to be successful in life and to not make the same mistakes they have made in life and I won't. My dream is to have and raise a daughter. Silly to some, but with the past experiences I have seen or faced in life, this seemingly small dream will mean a lot to her. To accomplish this, however, will not be a simple task. Graduating high school will be one step closer to reaching this dream I hold dear to my heart. My hopes of creating a stable and happy family will revolve around my ability to go to college, represent my glorious and spectacular high school and earn a degree in the field that best suits me. Having a job that I love will make life much more better and it being enough to provide for my future family will be the icing on the cake!

After all that has been said, you wouldn't have expected this from the person you see in my picture, did you? Well, it's who I am and who I wish to become. A father, a college graduate, and a successful person in my family's eyes and in my own.
