Hey, I’m Devin! Coming from Atlanta, most people are confused when I tell them that I am a steelers fan. The first question out of their mouth is, “oh are you from Pittsburgh?” And I reply, “no, I grew up in Atlanta!” The next question out of their mouth is, “Did one of your parents grow up in Pittsburgh?” And then I still reply “Nope!” My mom grew up in Atlanta and my Dad is actually from Iran. When my Dad moved to the US when he was younger, he saw the Steelers on TV and decided that was going to be his team. For his whole life then on, he was a massive fan, hence me growing up in Steeler onesies and being a massive fan as well. As I love to say, my blood is black and yellow!

I love being a Steelers fan in Atlanta. It makes me different and gives me something to love. I remember I went to my first Steelers game when I was 10 years old. All of the people around me couldn't believe the sailors mouth I had on me and the demonic state that I was in during the game. I get WAY too invested in those games. It is no joke that I have actually peed my pants out of excitement every single Steelers game that I go to. Being a Steelers fan is 100% one of my personality traits.

All in all, I love the fact that being a Steelers fan makes me unique in Atlanta. I love how whenever I wear a Steelers shirt, random people will pass me and yell out “Go Steelers!” I love bonding with random strangers about the Steelers. Go Steelers baby!
