The assignment of this Macao Health Code would be to assist the people of Macao in maintaining their general wellbeing by means of a collection of assessments and therapeutic modalities based on the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Health Problems used globally. The principal areas covered in this syllabus are'Thematic Management','Cerebral Palsy and Its Prevention','Maternal Health and Community Development','Meningitis and its Remedy' and'Rheumatic and skeletal diseases'. The key concepts driving the evolution of this syllabus are: the recognition that individual differences and individual causative agents ascertain individual answers; the significance of community-based care as opposed to institutional care; the interdependence of people; and the significance of interdisciplinary studies. The primary resources found in this syllabus would be the MACao Health Code, WHO International Classification of Diseases, World Health Organization, and the Joint Commission International's Global Burden of Disease study.
There are eight important focus areas contained in the plan of this Macao Health Code. The first focuses on early identification and prevention of ailments. This area addresses the observation of Hong Kong residents' food consumption throughout the weekdays and the times after meals in addition to the frequency of intakes of beverages aside from water at home and in the office. The second area focuses on the assessment of micronutrient intake for a basis for nutritional assessment of the macao Hong Kong residents. The third region addresses the assessment of calcium and vitamin D from urine samples in addition to blood samples.
The fourth area focuses on the observation of serum antioxidant aspects. The fifth focuses on the observation of blood pressure levels and glucose levels. The sixth focuses on monitoring of the CADR and/or the Chinese Crested Currency Rate. The seventh targets the documentation of the contact details of the Hong Kong resident's family and get numbers of their private health professionals along with their corresponding clinics.
