Manchester (and Salford)

I enjoy what I do. I work with enterprises willing to try a different way of doing things.

For the past three years I have worked supporting social investors, intermediaries and organisations involved in community enterprise and social investment, with the aim of growing the community shares and social investment market.

Since 2012, I've been working at the Community Shares Unit (CSU). The CSU is a project backed by Department for Communities and Local Government, delivered in partnership with Locality and Co-operatives UK.

Over the past seven years I've worked extensively with many brilliant & inspiring community owned enterprises using community shares to raise finance, as well as some of the leading exemplars in the wider social economy. I studied at the University of Law and, prior to working in this sector, worked on projects for undertakings as diverse as Corporate Financiers and Private Equity Firms, helping to design innovative financing solutions, to advising and supporting not-for-private-profit organisations.

I'm always interested in speaking to new & innovative community enterprises, learning new stuff and am especially interested in organisations in the North West of England – Salford & Manchester always preferable!
