I'm Monowar Hossain, a WordPress developer in Dhaka, Bangladesh — known online as devmonowar.

I build custom WordPress themes and plugins with PHP, JavaScript, Elementor and ACF. Most of my attention goes to the parts a visitor never notices: clean code, pages that load fast, and markup that works for someone using a keyboard or a screen reader.

My plugins are published free on the official WordPress.org directory — General Slider, Advanced Testimonial, Free Widgets For Elementor, and Janitorix Media Audit, which finds unused images sitting in a media library and shows the evidence before it recommends deleting anything.

None of them started as a product idea. Each one started as something that annoyed me on a real site. They now run on sites belonging to people I will never meet, which is the part of open source I enjoy most. Everything stays open on GitHub.

I also write guides about the problems I hit while building — what actually makes a slider slow and how to measure it, what the WordPress.org review team flags — so the next person spends less time stuck than I did.
