DeVon Manier

DeVon Manier is the President and Senior Talent Manager at Sportn’ Life Music Group, a Seattle based management agency and record label. Since co- founding Sportn’ Life in 2002, Manier has fostered artists from the Northwest, some of the more prominent names include: Nissim (formerly D.Black), Fly Moon Royalty, Fatal Lucciauno and Spac3man. Artists under his management have had music licensed to MTV, ESPN, Under Armour and in the major motion picture “21 and Over”. They’ve reached top 5 CMJ chart positions, played some of the country’s most esteemed music festivals and have shared the stage with some of the most renown names in the industry from NaS, Ice Cube, Big Boi, and The Wu Tang Clan, to Macklemore, Mos Def, Allen Stone, and Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings. In 2006, Manier received the Martin Luther King County Award for Excellence in Hip-Hop. He's taken a seat on the Bumbershoot planing committee and currently serves as a Seattle Music Commissioner, and a Vera Project Advisory Board Member.
