Dewey Bass

1978. Hip hop was on the rise, punk was in decline, and people were putting fish in the bottoms of their ridiculous, enormous shoes. It was into this turbulent environment that Dewey Bass was born, though he would not fully comprehend things like fashion and the word "environment" until many years later. Actually, he still doesn't really comprehend fashion...

Anyway, after many trials, such as learning to read, braces, punching the heart out of the dragon Shou-Lao to gain the power of the Iron Fist, and the fake swing revival of the late 1990s, Dewey became an illustrator, graphic artist, and even sort of a writer. From 2009-2012, he produced Comics From Space!, at great cost to his personal life and sanity. Also in 2012, he talked a few friends into the popular Tumblr collective Draw Something With Iron Man And Friends. He currently makes Closed Galaxy, a much better comic, at the same website, because it was already there. His personal tumblr is an outlet for illustrations, but the most popular thing he has ever or will ever post is a photoshop of Paul F. Tomplins as Andrew Lloyd Webber as Dr. Who, proving once and for all what the internet wants.

He has no children, but he saw one one time.
