"Thank you. There's rainbow in the cloud." - Pema Chodron

Trend Curator. At the intersection of digital media, social good and sustainability.

Industry background: financial services, real estate, foreign language, food services, social media and email marketing.

They said things happen for a reason. I found my passion and purpose in life when my real estate business tanked and lost my mother. Going through hardships, helped transform my thinking beyond money to what really matters in life.

Everyone is born for a purpose. We all have talent, skills and gift that we can use to make an impact. Which took me to the next step.

After dragging my feet working in real estate in 2009, I asked myself 'Do I really want to do this for the rest of my life?" The answer is a clear NO. That means, I had to do something about this.

So I decided to take a leap of faith to leave real estate industry and change gear.

While searching for purpose in life, I learned a variety of things, from going deep in social media to sustainability (okay, that is pretty generic term) - specifically, how do we reuse waste for social and economic transformation? - to honing digital skills at various nonprofits.

Now I know what I want to do in life: helping people - children and adults. Children specially orphans and those living in poverty are the ones who needs the most help. Women, yes, we are too, can always use training and funding to get them started a business. Or get better in career.

Somehow, we are all connected in this world. If not through family or friends, we are digitally connected.

I am not there yet. It's work-in-progress. One day I will get there..

In the meantime, will continue working on experimentation to reuse waste and write about the future of work.

Business is changing. Dare to think and do differently.
