Hello, my name is Dexter Jeffrey (aka DJ Decks) I am a qualified & experienced Music Professional with over 24 years industry knowledge. I have held a number of resident DJ roles throughout my career with great success, significantly increasing footfall to fill venue’s to capacity, and of recent due to the current 'lock-down' measures I have been live streaming & video/audio broadcasting remotely from home, as I have the complete remote live DJing & visual broadcasting set up. So I deal with music every day or the week and have a great depth and knowledge when it comes to DJing and compiling mixed albums which have been sold worldwide. Also I am very competent on the business side of the inner workings of venues, creating bespoke nights, events & promotions too.
Since 1996 when The ‘Telstar Group’ employed me as their A & R Music Production Office and Music Manager for Telstar Fitness (Then based in Oldham), I have mixed thousands of titles for the likes of Usain Bolt, Alesha Dixon, Lucy Benjamin & Beverley Callard plus much more. I set myself very high standards within my professional & personal development, continually striving to meet service requirements. I am dedicated & committed to the attainment of organisational goals, with a personal goal to continue progression & with working alongside ‘The Mint Group’ & their hugely successful club ‘Infernos’ for over 20 years now demonstrates that also.
I am a qualified sound engineer and also a professional digital sound editor that has the knowledge & use of various different Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) which I again along with my broadcasting suite I have a home DAW too.
