Pastor in the United Kingdom
Born in São Paulo City, the famous "Sampa", I lived there until moving to Manchester, UK. I am a graduate with a BS in Open Science and a BSc in Psychology, an AOG Pastor, and an eternal student of the Bible.
Moving to the North West of England made me fall in love with the country, its language, and its culture. It's no surprise that my other half is from here.
For many years, I worked for people who didn't inspire me, in places I didn't want to be, and doing jobs that didn't align with my childhood dream of "what will you be when you grow up?" Few people admit it, but you have to make money somehow. The bright side is that I learned a lot, both personally and professionally. I learned how to be humble and patient, and discovered the true meaning of "you can't have everything you want"—though you can certainly fight for it.
I managed to overcome this chaos, and finally, I am doing something truly fulfilling: writing, translating, pastoring, and helping people.
I volunteer to support groups, which involves helping couples in marital crises, troubled youth, adults lacking self-confidence, individuals struggling with their faith and convictions, and women going through emotional conflicts. I love helping others and feel that is my purpose. I am also a Celebrate Recovery mentor.
I have concerns about social inequalities and poverty in Brazil, England, and the wider world. Currently, I am one of the leaders involved in North West Christian community projects and one of the founders of "Beautiful Missions," a missionary project in Minas Gerais, North Brazil.
When it comes to things I love, well... nothing different from anyone else: good books, travelling, good music, and good food will do me. :-)
