My name is David Flowers. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Christy, since 1988. I am founding pastor of Wildwind Community Church in Flint Township, MI. I teach part-time in Spring Arbor University’s Master of Arts program in Counseling and run a growing private counseling practice in Fenton. I also supervise graduate counseling students during their required 3,000 of post-graduate counseling experience. I specialize in working with couples both pre and post-marital, anxiety and depression, bereavement, and am working on specialties in suicide and addiction counseling.

Blog

I maintain a blog where I write about spirituality (mostly Christian), leadership (frequently the church kind), and mental health. The purpose of my blog is to challenge, educate, encourage, and inspire.

I am an ordained minister in the Free Methodist Church of North America ('08) and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan. I am also a National Certified Counselor and have been certified to supervise graduate students since 2015.
