When we married in 1991, we decided together that we wanted to be good at marriage. We began a journey together at an early age Matt, 19 and Chandra, 21; our families offered unspoken dismay, but spoken support.

Throughout our marriage we have been sporadic at attending church. Life happened and it wasn't a priority. . . yet. Over the last several years we've worked individually and jointly on our relationship with Christ and our identity and value in Christ. In our search for the heart of God and one another, we've made many mistakes, suffered physical pain, and lost friends. "But God" (our favorite two words in the Bible) continues to redeem US with His promise in Romans 8:28 to make good of ALL things for those who love Him, those who are called according to His purpose.
