Danielle Gaskins

I am first and foremost an actress. It is my life and my character is defined by my personality and a little piece of each character that I temporarily became. Secondly, I am an artist. I enjoy turning my ideas into visual masterpieces so that I may share a little piece of me with the rest of the universe. Thirdly, I am an entreprenuer, because without this quality the first two would never enjoy the sweet serenade of success. I grew up in a mid-sized city in South Carolina. I am a country girl at heart and will remain that way until the day my existence ceases. I was raised by two parents, but not a traditional type of family. My mother and my grandmother made sure to instill wonderful values in me. I was an only child until I was 8 , when my one year old cousin came to live with us and quickly filled the role of my little sister. Then my second little sister made her debut upon this earth when I was fourteen. I was the oldest child until I discovered a long lost sister when I was 26, which then made me a middleild. Its funny that all of us have about seven years between us, give or take. I realized that I wanted to be a member of the creative arts community during my freshman year of high school. I tried different areas until I found my niche--.acting. So I decided to move to the NYC area and follow my dream
