David Gavin

I am a 30 year old male, married to the love of my life with 2 adoreable children. I grew up in Manchester with a passion for martial arts, football and movies.

I studied at St Ambrose Grammar school for boys where i learned that languages were my calling - Latin, French, German and Gaelic. In my later years at grammar school i had "a calling" to become a thespian and acting became my true passion.

I followed my calling against the best of advice from teachers, peers and parents and I left St Ambrose to study at Loreto in Manchester. A levels in IT, Media Studies, Performing Arts and Theatre Studies breathed life into my passion and i decided to further my studies in Media and Performance at Salford University.

With acting a very unstable career i decided to dive into regular work as a sales advisor for a financial services business, i very quickly learned the value of marketing and business analysis and was assigned to manage these elements for the enormous financial organisation. This birthed my interest in online marketing media and most importantly Google!

Having learned about finances, studied media impact and audiences and managed data entried and enquiries materialising from search engines, i devoted myself to learning the art of online marketing and Google search.

I entered the Google world as a sales agent in a growing company selling managed Google adverts. I realised i would need knowledge on this particular marketing strategy and so joined the Google advertising qualification programme. I learned all the techniques available and qualified as a Google certified individual. I was bitten! I had an underlying hunger for knowledge, i read books, blogs attended seminars and webinars on the art of Search Engine Optimisation.

Now i am a seven year veteran in Google marketing, paid search and organic. I have experience in social media campaigns, video advertising and content creation. BUT I AM STILL LEARNING.....
