Since I was a child I was always fascinated by computer programming and technology. The fact that I could enter a few lines of code (print statements or 1's and 0's) to make a computer dial phone number, display an image on a screen, send text via a bulletin board system (BBS) or even simulate a basic game of pong (maybe with a few additional lines) was amazing. This presented a challenge that I wanted to understand how it works. Computer programming challenged my creative and critical thinking processes. I began programming on a Commodore Vic 20 but didn't realize my abilities until a great family friend, sports coach, mentor, and father figure, William Baldon, loaned me an IBM PC with the old amber screen. Basic and Assembly language and I became best of friends. Over the years I have learned other programming languages because computer programming became my passion. Fortuntately these days programming comes in many flavors and embedded in our everyday lives. Today I use it to assist my clients with business needs, help my family with personal technology needs, and to try create new designs or applications when I have the time. I've use computer programming as way to connect with others but also as a way to get away when I need "me" time.
I am very passionate about computer programing and technology but I use my skills in both to help the world move forward, innovate, and disrupt to hopefully improve the world that I live in.
