Dr. Dimitrios Georgoulas

Volos, Greece

Dr. Dimitrios Georgoulas obtained the Diploma, BEng in Internet Engineering from the Aston University, Birmingham, United Kingdom in 2003, and the MSc degree in Internet Computing from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom in 2004. In May 2009 he awarded with a doctorate, PhD, in Wireless Sensor Networks from Aston University, United Kingdom.

Dimitrios has a number of awards and recognitions for his research including the Best Researcher of the Year in UK, an award that he won twice on different projects in 2007 and in 2008.

He worked as a Scientific and Laboratory Associate at the Department of Computer Science & Telecommunications, ATEI of Larissa in Greece and as Director of ECDL studies in BFS Language School in Volos.

He is administrator of the AppleWorldHellas, one of the most succesful web sites and forums concerning Apple News in Greece.

Currently he works as a Senior Researcher at the Center of Research and Technology in Thessaly, in Greece.
